Why would we not go for Bony? Doubts about his character? He was great for Swansea - and apparently only 27

If we hadn't got Lukaku when we did, wanted us to sign Bony.

But his apparent happiness to select a paycheck over regular football has to be a bit of a question mark over his attitude. Think he'd suit Koeman's style but he seems to need very regular gametime to stay sharp which might be diificult to combine with Lukaku's desire for the same thing.

Not sure how Volland or Seferovic are doing now, but they were canny last season.

After that, it's unlikely we'd tempt Aubameyang, etc.

Davie Selke looks okay, but too inexperienced in all likelihood.

Aye, that tournament is at a horrendous time as there are often lots of injuries after the demanding winter games.

If he hadn't already been loaned out, would have liked to have tried Dominic Solanke, always been impressed with him when seen him play for England although he probably would have been more a 3rd choice vs a 2nd choice striker.
