Realistic position in the League

Player Valuation: £750k
After yesterday's superb performance from Fellaini, Jagielka, Distin and the rest of the lads, what do you believe is a realistic position we could finish in the league this season? Heitinga, our player of the season, couldn't even start yesterday and that speaks volumes for me. We have a squad capable of competing at the top of the league and I do believe that if we play like that for the rest of the season, 4th is without doubt a target which we could achieve, of course it is going to take alot of hard work but hopefully we just re-create the wins by the odd goal like the 2004-05 season. Thoughts?

I think we will challenge for Europe, whether it be CL or EL. We have to be realistic and say the performance from last night won't happen all the time. Tottenham, Newcastle and Liverpool (Yes) will look stronger as the season goes on and by the end of the transfer window i think. But i think our next two games are very winnable.

4th is one hell of an ask when you look at the quality the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs have with more likely to come in.

It's doable but it would be an utterly magnificent acheivement for Moyes.

6th or lower for me.

We always play too negative against the weaker teams. I know that sounds a bit negative after last nights performance but Moyes has got to believe more in the players he has if we want to have any chance of breaking the top 4. After last night, he might have that now but I dunno.

Top 4 is a really big ask when our squad isn't that big. I think it's possible but we'd need a lot of luck. One or two of the top 4 would have to have a dodgy start and we'd need to avoid injuries.

Injuries could well decide our fate this season - steer clear of serious injuries to our key players & we could well challenge for one of the top 6 places, lose 1 or 2 to serious knocks & we could be mid table.

A great start, but it'll count for little, if we get turned over at Villa on Saturday, so lets keep a sense of perspective lads

A classic bell curve from 3rd to 9th, anything outside of that would be a huge aberration, making 6th about most likely. Personally I have a feeling we'll fall just on the good side of that in 5th/6th.
