Real Madrid have appointed the Spainish national team coach Julien Lopetegui as theirs new head coach
He will take up his appointment after the World Cup.
Still had 2 years left on his contract with Spain.
I must admit it’s a bit of a left field appointment and not one the press had considered.

A goalkeeper who played one game for Real and also played for Barcelona.
Managed Real’s feeder club Castilla before taking over Spain’s youth set up.
Never heard of him till a couple of hours ago
