Maybe even rodriguez up front with kone? I'd like to see him given a chance with the first team, lukaku needs to be rested somewhere along the line ffs.

People can moan all they want about it being second string etc but it's still a very good team (would have been better with mirallas. And we can always call on the first teamers to dig us out ala barnsley.

P.s. It's 'Madejski' as in Ma-deh-ski. Big john gets upset when the j is in the wrong place. I saw him once on King St. He unfortunately wasn't getting a kebab. Nice Bentley though.

Been there once. Just remember it had this ridiculous one way street system that was really annoying.

I was there that awful night we lost to them in the 5th round after beating Chelsea on penalties, typical Everton really. Hopefully we can get a result there and then get a home tie in the next round. Reading are not a bad side and have done reasonably in the cup in recent years. I remember that wonderful night when they beat the RS at Anfield in extra time. We should be quietly confident, however our record in the league cup is pathetic. Remember that ridiculous own goal by Lescott in the semi final in the last minute, we were quite comfortable till that went in. As usual we'll take a tremendous following, nobody has a better away support than us.

Thing is mate, we said that about Barnsley but Reading is a much harder team, i think we should play the same side we would play if they were a premiership side, get it over in 90 minutes, we have an extra day to rest for West Brom.
Saying that i would still like to see Deulofeu and Mori start, and Howard in goal, no messing with Joel while we have a new central defender playing.
