Those front half dozen rows in the away lower tier look a bit iffy -- the away end has fences, obscuring the view. None of the other sides of the ground are fenced in.

I think both ends behind the goals are fenced in, also has some kind of net aswell

Ok. Basically, I'll treat it like an NFL game (they're always the busiest and take the longest to get into, like 30 mins.) Mainly, it's about maximizing my drinking time as much as possible, but also hitting the bathroom before. Cuz I will be crushing beers.
And you will want a bit of time on the concourse joining in the singing and the beer throwing!!!

Bit late to the party as been waiting for confirmation that I can get the time off work....anyone provide the best/cheapest route they've found to get there please.
Best I can find is either Leeds-Bradford to Geneva then train to Bern or London Luton to Zurich then train.
Fancied Eurostar but timings aren't great

Be the time you have done all that you can do Thomas Cook overnighter or Sports Options day trip for £400 and £285 respectively........ #justsaying

Ps I am all for planes, trains and automobiles normally but with this one just couldn't make it stack up unless I did 2/3 nights away....so first time ever I am going with Thomas Cook

That Leeds route (£190) has good times going out, but means going back to Geneva post-match/getting up really early the morning after. I booked Newcastle to Geneva @ £150 ages ago (its £226 now) which gives less time in Bern pre-match, but has a good return time (2.30pm). I looked at the Luton one when the draw happened - it was the cheapest from memory - the arrival time of 3.40pm looked a bit suspect for making kickoff though! + I think Zurich is a longer train journey as well. Guess it boils down to which end of the journey you want to have more time and whether Leeds or Newcastle makes much difference to you.
