OFFICIAL: Timo Werner joins Chelsea from July (so won't play in the CL tournament for RBL). Good luck to the lad, think he might struggle in the PL but we shall see. Not too sure if he can play for Chelsea in the CL though? Would be unfair if so IMO.

Last 16 ties that need completing in CL will be played 7th/8th August

Last 8 onwards played in a 12 day mini tournament in Portugal between the 12th and 23rd

EL to be completed the same way with the two outstanding last 16 games, Inter v Getafe and Sevilla v Roma played as one off games on 5th and 6th August with the rest of the tournament played in Germany from August 10th to 21st

The Women’s Champions League is to be finished in Spain from 21st to 30th August

They haven’t said but presumably the season starts mid September as the opening group games for the 20/21 Nation’s League are scheduled for the 3rd to 8th September

They’ve mentioned nothing about the transfer window, there were rumours the other day that it could be extended to October though
