I am a collector of Everton books and would dearly like to get a copy of Ray Wilson's book which was published by Pelham books around 1968. Should anybody have an old copy they no longer want i would be willing to buy it. Please keep me posted on it. Thanks

I appreciate your concern, but seeing as the book that goat has posted will set you back £150, the £60 that he wants doesn't seem like he's ripping him off at all.

Have a look around some car boots just acquired the Dixie Dean book hardback with dust jacket for a fiver -great book also got two other gems off the car boots all in good condition Alan ball life story = £1.00 hard back with dust jacket - and the classic 1970 championship book with Dixie Dean writing the preface again £5 with dust jacket all bargains in good nick!

Maybe he is genuine but would you be happy sending £60 euros to a poster who has joined today and scoured the back posts from 3 years ago and as luck would have it happens to have exactly what the original poster has requested?

Aye, fair play there. Took it at face value.

Hmmmm

I shall monitor this.

isn't €60 euros about 17p in real money?

that is a very weird bump.

did alan ball find his book? like groucho, i also first thought it was a current thread...found 4 copies of the book online, but all between 150-200 quid...so they're not getting any cheaper.

Ray Wilson one of the greats. I watched him many times at Goodison. A great left back for us and England. Can't believe he played for Shankley at Huddesfield. Proud of him against Germany in the 1966 final.
