Good window for us, reinforcing many of our weak areas. Had we gotten an actual LB too, id probably give this window a full 10/10, but that didnt happen.

7/10

Atrocious.

We needed a LB and a proven PL striker and got neither. Since September those were the priority positions.

1/10
You misery. I only gave them 3/10 mind because I think Walcott could be decent, and Tosun is at least a striker and Mangala is a left sided defender who will elicit groans rather than outright jeering and boos like the current gang of 'defenders'. But frankly no left back and no proven striker is utterly appalling.

Walcott is quality so his signing obviously (with that price) is excellent piece of business (9)

Tosun is a question mark atm but would think he can become ok player after settling period. (5/6/7)

Mangala could be good coup for us I feels. I thinks his qualities will suit better in Evertons style than in Citys. Big and strong guy. (6/7/8)

6 outs 3 ins this is ok window (7)

Yer mars.

Excellent comments, lets see how the new guys do before the moans and groans

Walcott is a straight 9, Tosun looks the part but lets get some performances under his belt, Mangala, left footed is a coop and for a 15 million option might be fantastic business. Dont forget City thought he was worth a record fee them.

Outs Barkley, still smarting over but he didnt want to stay so C'est La Vie!, Mirallas good move, Besic good move, Lennon good move, Lookman forced the move so lets see how the lad comes back next year.

Regarding the left back its obvious that our targets were'nt available and lets face it if someone came in and was utter gash it would have been BFS this BFS that blah blah blah!

Look to the future and ensure we use this season to get the best out of what we have, this summer is becoming very important

7 Theo Walcott is a very good addition, he has a football brain as well as great pace and an eye for a goal. Know little about Cenk Tosun but I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt for now, I really can’t understand the negativity for the signing of Mangala, he is fast big strong and brave, all the qualities none of our current center backs possess, with the possible exception of Holgate.

The failure to sign a left back, once again may well come back to bite us, but, I think we have enough about us now to finish mid table-ish.

Let’s hope we do and then wave goodbye to fat Samuel and his entourage.
