Walcott is a great signing; adds goals, pace, and football IQ. Failure to sign a left back can’t be (and hasn’t been) overstated, like the failure to sign a striker in the summer. Add in loaning out Ademola and I settled for a 5.

Can't go over 5 due to the absence of left back.

Messed up Schneiderlin deal. Klassen deal appears to be messed up by Napoli rather than us.

Lookman out on loan is a head scratching one. Only time will tell how that will turn out.

The other outs seem fair as none are critical to us.

Our ins improve us though I still don't know owt about Tosun, but he is a striker and we need more options there. I would rather a known quality striker but it's January and we aren't the most enticing prospect.

Again left back though, Have we at least got Garbutt registered to play?

Typical Everton really, ok in parts, but seriously lacking in others but it's enough to compete for 7th.

Fairly happy with Mangala tbh, think he'll do alright but we now have 6 center backs! Add that to 3 keepers and 5 full backs, that's overstocked.

And somehow we've ended up with just three wide midfielders! We got rid of lennon, mirallas, lookman and Sandro as well as another attacker in barkley. If we include onyekuru we have 5 wingers on loan, its crazy! To go with three left backs on loan when we had none in the first team, there does seem a massive lack of planning.

Getting mangala pushes it from a 5 to 6 for me but I think shifting a lot of wages out has been quite good. Hopefully in preparation of raising a few players profile to get good fees in the summer.

6 - Walcott looks really good, Tosun too early to say but a huge fee and he must deliver. Mangala a low risk loan, but no convinced with him.

STILL NO LEFT BACK

Tosun is a complete unknown. Early signs not good but they are extremely early. Too early really.

Walcott is a superb signing.

Mangala is left sided and athletic. He could go either way.

We got a fee for the Snake.

We got a loan for sandro but with a nominal buyout fee. Not great business.

Lookman situation is bizarre.

Besic OUT.

Mirallas OUT

Lennon was a sad one for me. But he deserves to play and Theo is an upgrade so no qualms.

Left back a huge issue still.

Midfield is an issue. Hopefully Davies solves it by refinding form and continuing to mature.

A very mixed bag overall. 5.

Generally OK with that

Addressed most area lost nothing really - only Ross Plankley. Hope it works out for Smiler as well.

Available 24

Pickford, Robles, Coleman, Keane, Jags, Williams, Martina, Kenny, Holgate, Mangala, Garbutt, Schneids, Gana, Benni, Davies, The O, Rooney, Bolasie, Siggi, Klaxon, Vlasic, Cenk, Oumar, DCL. And sundry reserves

Loaned out, worth keeping.Lookman Dowell Henry* * is he back, injured?

Can do one Mo and Kev

Don't Know about Sandro - may need to go home to Spain.

Others. Unsure about Galloway and Browning. Not mad about Pennington. Can't judge the other younger players out on loan

...Allardyce appears to be wanting to address the imbalance in the squad, and this is as much about moving players out as it is about bringing players in.

Can’t believe somebody posted that we should’nt have tried to move Klaassen and Sandro out because Champions League teams wanted them. Neither have made an impact, neither are getting game time so move them on. Allardyce will be disappointed with Klaassen not going. Mirallas has gone.

I’m a Lookman fan but I have no issue with him going, although it seems odd given that Allardyce said he was staying. It sounds like Lookman might have forced the move, he was certainly behind Bolasie and Walcott in the queue of wingers and might not have liked that.

The arrival of Mangala brings much needed athleticism to a squad that lacks pace and power. Building a team is about players complimenting each other, and Mangala could provide Keane with the power he needs alongside. There is also the prospect of Mangala/Holgate partnership. We won’t truly know about Mangala until we see him.

Walcott looks great business at £20m. I suppose the one concern is Tosun, only time will tell.

Voted 5.
The good - Tosun and Walcott add much needed firepower and pace and Mangala is a left footed CB who's under 30 who's strong and quick.
The Bad - We are still playing a backup Right Back at Left Back! The failure to find proper cover/comp for Baines is unforgivable and really should cost Walsh his job.

I went for 4 simply for the Barkley saga and no left back.

I feel we should have got Kenedy as part of the Barkley deal. Toon fans at work saying they are shocked he was so much better than the rest of their time despite being a 'Chelsea reserve' he also hit the post last night.

Thing is, we have two young-ish defenders in Keane and Holgate and two much older CBs. Mangala hits that sweet spot between experience and youth... In theory.

Good window, we got money for Barkley, made good signings, the only thing that might of made it better was selling more deadwood. The summmer window is the main one, we go for a left back then

Went for a 4 just because thy have known since November they desperately needed a LB and STILL never sorted one out. Loans went everywhere but there wasn't 'one LB in world football we could have gotten'. It's complete dereliction.

Atrocious.

We needed a LB and a proven PL striker and got neither. Since September those were the priority positions.

1/10

The rat barkley out and gone should make it a 10. But i gave a 7. Maybe top left back wasnt available? Would have liked more culling of the riff raff in the squad. Im happy with what we brought in.
