Bayer Leverkusen are negotiating a deal to sign Sweden midfielder Rasmus Elm from Kalmar. Manchester City, Fulham, Everton and AZ Alkmaar were all tipped to sign the man who impressed at the European U21 Championships but Bayer coach Rudi Voeller said: "I met the player. A very interesting man" (Koelner Express).

This is what it's come down to then. Filling pages and pages on GOT about a player we've supposedly not even made a bid for...or if we did, it was rejected.

Sadly, you're right. If nothing else, we're a wishful lot.

I'm tired of reading rumors. I'm tired of wishing and wanting. The side today is the side we'll support - don't see anyone coming in that's going to play significantly - nothing more than what Castillo and Jacobsen (don't we wish he was still in blue, eh) saw last season.

Patiently waiting for the return of Arteta. Patiently waiting the sale of Lescott to finalize to put this sorry chapter behind us all.
