RANGERS

Currently on holiday Nacho Novo was sitting behind me on the flight yesterday, quite a bit of good hearted banter with a few well oiled Rangers fans onboard.
He seemed a decent guy and was looking in astonishing rude health considering his recent heart problems.

Basically he's old and has lost a couple of steps

No crime in that of course, but I don't think he's up to the sort of battles he'd have in Scotland

He’ll still be too quick for them up there and he’s easily physical enough for the no marks he’s up against.

He’d piss it in that league now. If the money was right it would be a great move for him.

Do you think he would piss it in The Championship? I watched the two play off games in midweek, and while the Leeds V Derby game was exciting, I thought the standard in both games was poor.

Surely The Championship would be a better bet for him, as there's more money down there, and he wouldn't need to worry about any nippy forwards from European clubs getting in about him?

I wonder if Gareth McCauley thought he would piss it up here? Joey Barton certainly did, and he wasn't shy about telling people. Unfortunately, for Joey that is, things didn't turn out to be quite as big a piss up as he predicted.

As The Blades are in The Premiership next season, wouldn't the he's old and has lost a couple of steps problem be the same for them as it is for Everton?

If United were in The Championship next season I think it might make more sense for him to go there.

I don't think Sheffield United actually want him and their fans are unhappy that pundits are trying to foist him on them

Apparently their manager is all about quick defenders, which Jags isn't anymore

True.
But experience looking at that squad is a necessity.

I haven't seen him play in years now. He was a good player in his day, but if he's either good enough for The Premiership these days, or he isn't.

From what little I've seen of The Championship this season, I reckon all three promoted clubs will go straight back down next year. For me only Norwich look to have any chance at all of staying up next year.

Rangers will finish a comfortable second this year.If it wasn't for silly points thrown away, they would have finished closer to Celtic as well.So they quite clearly are the second best team in scotland. The league table never lies.
