RANGERS

Rangers and Aberdeen is a pretty fierce rivalry.Back in the early 90's the Dons were Rangers biggest rivals.Im sure @Alanbileysfeathercut remembers those days well.Big Mark Hateley turning both Theo Snelders and the hapless Michael Watt into nervous quivering wrecks.:) I think in one game he put both the ball and poor Michael Watt into the net.lol

Corky here's another one for you, why do you keep posting historical codswallop that no one's interested in about events that happened long before you were born. @Alanbileysfeathercut would much rather you answer the question you are swerving regarding Newco knocking Aberdeen off their perch.

Last game of the season the league was aberdeeens and theo was deemed unfit
Cue Hateley to muscle a young watt into defeat.
Won't mention the dodgy money schemes you had back then shall we ?
Old co and all that.
Just Europe to play for today anyway.

Derek McInnes made a valued contribution, to Rangers 9 in a row season. He played his part in Rangers win in the 1999 Scottish Cup final. So he is a Rangers man, but i think he showed a lack of ambition in rejecting the Rangers managers job.I think we are all agreed that he has reached his glass ceiling at Aberdeen. So i just think McInnes showed, that he didn't have the drive and ambition to take the Rangers job. That he is happy enough, being patted on the back and being applauded for being an also ran at Aberdeen.Anyway that's the last im speaking about this.My point is clear.I have my opinion on this matter, and i see no reason to change it.

McInnes went to Ibrox for an interview. Word on the street is Dave King wanted him to just resign from Aberdeen, and Rangers would try and stiff Aberdeen out of the compensation deal that was in McInnes's contract. McInnes refused to shaft Aberdeen, and that's why the deal fell down.

The fact he went for the interview would indicate to me he was interested in the job. If the rumours are true, then, in my opinion, it's to his credit that he wouldn't shaft Aberdeen.

There's days when the decisions go for you, and day's that they don't.Another thing about McInnes the style of football his sides play, is not that great either tbh.
Like I said Corky unrequited love is the toughest of all he spurned you and it just eats away at you cos you're stuck with Slippy and you'll win the total some of rock all, the nearly men, the Scottish Liverpool, you will be back in for McInnes again once Slippy has spent all the clubs money on a bunch of duds just like Pedro and once he's bled the club dry you'll be back for McInnes again, but hey it's the last your mentioning McInnes again and again and again.

Scottish football as a whole is hardly exciting just now.
Styles of play?
You want teams to open up at ibrox?
You can only work with what you have.
You did previously say you'd have him at the rangers.
Odd?
