RANGERS

@Redstarrob So what are your thought on Mr Gerrard. There was a decent run in europe. But two cup exits to Aberdeen, and i think Rangers have thrown away a lot of points in the league as well. Now he does deserve another season, but all in all i still think that they should have recruited a more experienced manager.

@Cork Evertonian what are your thoughts about Mr McInnes, I know he turned down Rangers and you ended up with slippy, but he has knocked you out of two cups, do you think he'd do a better job than slippy, I'm asking you because of your ability to pick a winner.

Rangers will probably finish in front of Aberdeen.I don't see Aberdeen beating Celtic in the next round, so you can draw your own conclusions there. It's a winner that Rangers want. Not a perennial nearly man and runner up.

Again evading answering a simple question, would you rather have slippy as your manager when your season is dead and buried or would you rather have McInnes whose team still have a chance of silverware and whom is keeping his teams season alive, and why did you used to want him as manager of Rangers up until he very sensibly knocked yer back.:coffee:

Is decent good enough I ask?
Lot of money being thrown about at rangers.
Possible 2nd league finish is about the sum of the season.
Looked clueless v aberdeen the other night.
If you look at the money all of the managers have to play with then Gerrard has done poorly, take Morelos out of the team and you don't have much left, you have got to say that McInnes and Clark have done so much better with the money they've had to work with.

This from a guy who is touting Chris Wilder as the next manager lol Perhaps you forget Rangers last foray into the Championship a certain Mr Warburton, despite spending a lot of bread, he couldn't get them on a roll and ended up toast.

This thread has gone dead since Rob was binned, surely @Cork Evertonian is champing at the bit to comment on Chris Sutton's comments regarding Gerrard failing to improve Rangers, them still being 11 points behind Celtic in the league, out of all the cups whilst Celtic are marching on towards a treble treble, and to top it all off Corky's favourite manager McInnes (whom he only started slagging off after he'd wisely knocked them back for the manager's job) has become their nemesis knocking them out of both cup competitions,c'mon Corky we're missing your words of wisdom.

Just thinking that myself.
Bring a blue nose home?

Well Rangers will finish second. There was a good effort in europe as well. There was points thrown away with last second goals as well.I mean c'mon for a club that's 7 years old to finish second. As for McInnes he has a serious mental block with Celtic at this stage.A man with an inferiority complex with regards to Celtic, is the last person needed or required at ibrox.

Celtic off the top of my head have won 7 of the last domestic trophies on offer with the next 2 odds on.
For any team to run them close with a 1/5 of their season ticket sales is a decent achievement.
With the amount of money being thrown about at Ibrox they should be closer to Celtic.
Wonder why Mcinnes shunned the rangers
He didn’t want that garbage that goes with it (the Orange B stuff)
Who could blame him
