Both rangers and celtic fans sing sectarian and loyalist/republican songs which i condemn utterly but the abuse of lee rigby is going too far, the poppy thing was started by an element called the green brigade who seem not to care about many servicemen past and present who support celtic

There is none so blind as those that cannot see,it's already been acknowledged that there is room for improvement from both sets of supporters but you are insisting that Celtic are worse and glorifying it with examples which I think is pretty poor.

I know both Celtic and Rangers fans who are very nice people, I think it is important to say not all fans of those clubs are the bigots they are sometimes portrayed to be. However they both have large numbers of followers who are. To argue which is worse is dancing on the head of a pin.

As someone who lives near Manchester, I can personally attest to the destructive powers of Rangers fans

They tore that City to pieces

Literal rivers of pish everywhere

Events like that in fact is where the "Hun" nickname comes from

Mistakenly it's attributed as a sectarian slur, but it actually has it roots based in the idea that Rangers supporters are like a rampaging hoard who take over wherever they go, just like Attila's Army

In fact, Celtic supporters also used to be called that name for the very same reason. It's only in really in the post-war years that it's become an exclusive Rangers term. Back in the day, both sides of the Old Firm were known as "Huns", because they were both equally capable of tearing your town apart on a whim

I think that just stands to show why most people outside the fish bowl tend to see the Old Firm as very much two sides of the same coin...
