What's the point in paying 10-15 mill for a player to sit on the bench? I know he'd get games but he's first choice at Celtic and playing champions league. If we'd sold Stones I'm sure he'd be on the list to replace him but as a backup he seems the wrong profile. Funes Mori makes more sense.

If we are to replace Stones, for me it HAS to be a player who is proven in the Prem. If that means paying over the odds for an Ashley Williams type, then so be it.
