Now, no excuse for Funes Mori's tackle (oo-er missus), or getting sent off (as apparently the rest of the team decided that was a good excuse to start perfecting their "Frank Spencer plays for Everton" impressions). But anyone unfortunate to be there, was his hitting the badge a response to getting an earful from the RS fans as he went off? Overheard someone saying this, just wondered if anyone could verify. Seems more likely it was a way of saying "up you, you teds", not "Look, I crocked a Liverpool player, well done me", you lurking kopite twerps.

Funes Mori's was bad but it wasn't deliberate, just clumsy.
