Will he get a work permit and play for us ?

With a new defensive partnership that have barely played together, mistakes will happen but, Funes Mori does not look out of his depth as Vickery suggested. Koff Tim.

He's settled in nicely so far, been beaten in the air a couple of times from a standing position ( Sunderland ) and last minute against Norwich but I think that's more of a case him needing to learn that even the crap strikers in this league have a few tricks up their sleeve when it comes to challenging defenders.

Apart from that all signs are looking like he's a good acquisition and at a great age as well.

Fletcher put his arm out and pushed Funes Mori out of the way. The goal should've been disallowed.

No it shouldn't mate, it was a perfectly good goal.

Stones got caught out for Defoe's (as did Galloway not winning an easy loose ball in the build-up), and Mori got outmuscled and outjumped for their second.

But mistakes will happen. When Galloway came on we probably had one of the youngest defences in the league this season.

Mori I thought was excellent, and he's not looking out of his depth at all. The one thing he probably needs to adapt to more than anything else is the physicality of the game. He's got the pace, and he's pretty strong in the tackle, but he often gets outjumped/outfought when defending crosses. Strangely enough, at the other end, he seems to win most headers. But i'm confident, based on his displays so far, that he'll learn this pretty quickly.

I agree with most of that, BT, just not the first bit. I know what I saw.
