So in 5 years, exactly how many games did Distin cost us eh? I can think of one obvious one, beyond that....the good things Distin did outweighed the bad about 99 to 1.

His last two here were filled with errors, not all of them punished but whenever he played he was prone to switching off.

His first few here he was class and a great signing.

I thought Mori did fine for the most part, did a lot of defending tonight at full stretch but generally did his job well, and still coming to terms with the Prem and how his team mates play. Clearly likes the diagonal pass out to Geri and not scared to venture forward with the ball. Wasn't quite so keen on that little push in Rondon's back though, just asking for trouble that was.

Perspective needed, first start in the prem, away from home with 2 young lads in the back 4 with him and despite the one mistake which we should have avoided them taking advantage off, he was very good

Still need to see more of him but he certainly hasn't looked out of place.

Barry would have just put his foot through and we'd be going on about him having a absolutely outstanding first game in the league, nea for me he played a blinder against two very good strikers and under a lot of pressure, lost count of the amount of times after his mistake he cleared the lines, very impressive

also wouldn't be arsed about him starting in the derby, you have to play games to get better and he seems to thrive on those big type of games anyway.

He'd probably score the winner.
