Bielsa has been a name that people constantly put forward last season as someone who could be managing Everton. He was apparently a real coach (as opposed to Ancelotti). Well he’s got his own squad, has had numerous seasons with them, and had money to spend. He’s currently in the bottom 3 and getting pummelled left right and centre.

That is a basis on which you can build an argument for firing a manager. Not someone who was parachuted in during the summer, given beans to spend, had an injury crisis, and still has us in mid table.
So, nothing to do with Benitez then.

Digne won't be starting Thursday currently considering Bobble has said Benitez hasn't patched it up. So that means John Joe Kenny, Holgate central again and Godfrey at left back that's barely championship level back four.
Yet we could have had mina back if he wasnt stubbornly trying to make a point. We could also have digne, if he wasn't stubbornly trying to make a point.

So, nothing to do with Benitez then.

Apart from showing that this forum’s previous number one favourite replacement for the Everton job is actually doing even worse than Benitez therefore proving the probable downside of changing manager again given the difficulty of the job at hand, then yes it has nothing to do with him,

Comparisons between managers from different eras are always fruitless. The game is just completely different.
Very true but terrible form is still terrible form no matter which year it is as are terrible managers.
However , you're ultimately right . With all the money in the game it's a fruitless exercise .

It's interesting that your strategy for supporting Benitez is to point out other struggling managers and reflect that we are doing slightly less badly than they are. Slippy G has won four games out of six since arriving at Villa, that's only one win fewer than Benitez has managed in 16. Care to compare Benitez with his former captain or does that not fit your narrative.

Leeds have an injury crisis too btw. Or does that only count for Benitez?

Very foolish the way he’s gone about this job. Once the window closed in the summer he had to make best of what he had. Wait until next summer to have harsh words and force folk out the club when it doesn’t affect what’s happening on the pitch. Doing it during the season is just hurting the team. They look a dispirited, rudderless bunch and that’s squarely on him, the way he’s gone about the job and his lack of people skills.

Come on mate.

Many of us, myself included were very critical of Bielsa.

The idea the only alternative to Benitez is Bielsa is completely ridiculous.

It's worth noting though, Bielsa has a lot more credit in the bank than Benitez for bringing Leeds up.
