Starting to create disharmony within the squad. Going after a player that contributes while keeping silent and giving game time to a complete rubbish rondon will cause deep misunderstanding within the squad. I can foresee a disaster before the end of the season.

Yes, because the injuries happened.

We'll get near it for sure. But it will be seen as failure by Benitez whereas it was viewed as acceptable by Ancelotti.

Time will tell, but blind favouritism will always cause issue within the squad, to the point where players start to lose respect and tactics become irrelevant.

Any new manager of any club can be accused of this. They aren't his players.
Can work both ways where the player chooses not to like the new manager.

It's why we have been like this for so long. If we change again then every player may not like the new one and we repeat the cycle.

Stability is crucial (for me at least) at the moment.

its either purely co-incidental or he's encouraging the players to shoot more this season because I have seen potential goal of the season contenders from Doucoure, Townsend and Gray in the league this season and we are not even halfway through the season yet

if he can sort out our defence, the holes in midfield and get a fully fit DCL who knows what will happen
