Not the greatest Husband in the world , it has to be said , but as a Dad , an Evertonian , a Union Man , a Geezer , but most of all a FOOTBALLER of superb repute , himself , he was IMMENSE .

The things you embedded in me all those years ago stand with me today like it was uny last week . That's a compliment to the Teacher , not the subject matter .

Never give you a compliment if he could rip the arse outta you instead . Him an' his mates were MY HEROES as a young blue . No [Poor language removed] . It was the FUNNIEST place I have EVER been .

Anyway , just to say , R.I.P. Dad . Big D ; The Legend - they REALLY DID call him that .

I miss you SO much , an' your Great Grandkids are GORGEOUS .
