Clive Robert Benjamin Dunn OBE (9 January 1920 - 7 November 2012) was an English actor, comedian and author, best known for his role as Lance-Corporal Jack Jones in the popular BBC sitcom Dad's Army

RIP Clive.

I grew up watching these Home Guard boys in the late 60's. Great memories of growing up and laughing with my family that have since passed on.

He looked the part of Grandad even at 40. Had a long life and lived in Portugal for 20 or 30 years I believe. I have most of the Dad Army series on DVD. I love the term Fuzzy wuzzies and his tricked out Butcher Van.

RIP Clive. Like Sid, I thought he had died years ago. Most of the cast unfortunately passed away.

It was the acting that made Dad's Army funny imo.
