Met the man at the premier of a Play about him. Will only have happy memories about a legend of the green baize.

RIP, a great man of sport. Very sad indeed, a working class hero.
Very much this
RIP

Made snooker watchable for Me.
Made it so exciting to watch, a breath of fresh air to the game, and one of the main reasons snooker became such a popular TV sport in the 70's, 80's and beyond. Ronnie O'Sullivan is a poor man's Hurricane.

He lived it till the end, RIP

Genuine Trailblazer and all round hell raiser. Without Hurricane Higgins there would be no Whirlwind White and in turn no Rocket O'Sullivan. An awful way to go and early at 61, sadder still his true talent never seemed completely fulfilled as the only thing greater were his personal demons. At peace now, the game and all of sport mourn one of the Legends.

Saw him at a snooker club in Manchester in the 80s doing an exhibition against various members. Superb player and a real character.

RIP The peoples' champion. You can leave that tie off for ever now kidda
