....surely we need investment to fund a new stadium not the sale of assets. Apologies, but I'm not a fan of hypothetical scenarios.

Everyone wants a fancier car, but who actually needs two kidneys? And most families have extra kids, but plenty of couples who can't have kids would be willing to shill out big bucks for a nice kid.

Stadium issue is a bit of an albatross for sure - be fantastic to put it to bed. Just not sure we have the right people in charge of the club to be thinking about a new stadium - it's a massive project that may be beyond their competencies.

Bill K's approach of let's-all-sit-on-our-ringpiece-for-a-bit-and-see-what-happens has not been all bad, tbf - there's a time to be steering a neutral course and avoiding the mistakes of others. Seems like a fantasy, though, that he can just reverse out of this and start digging up Liverpool for a new stadium.

Selling our best players and not replacing would inevitably drop us down the league.
We would not only miss out on having a good squad, but will lose a mil or more for each place dropped + TV revenue from sky would fall and could potentially suffer the worst loss of all in relegation as the rest of the league over take us and we turn into Villa.

I'd rather we simply didn't spend all the money from the massive sky deal and income and used it to buy the stadium with over a few years.

No just bang a tier on the park end with a row of hospitality in between the tiers so more people can marvel at our magnificence as we are. Surely we could scratch enough money together for this?
