Time for us to shine.

Come on lads.

3PM tomorrow.

Referee: Björn Kuipers (Netherlands)

Need to be more clinical, Sweden will likely stifle us and catch us cold at the back. Not even gonna predict a scorekine

This World Cup has had lots of shocking results for the favoured team - just hoping that England doesn’t join the list!

Nothing is guaranteed but the path to the semifinal couldn't have worked out better for England and Croatia.

If that isn't the semifinal something shocking happened. Russia or Sweden making it would mean a big upset happened...and please (not directed at you LL) keep your FIFA rankings for someone who doesn't think they are utterly stupid.

I would be utterly shocked if England doesn't win this.
I wouldn't.

England lack any mobility in the middle of the park - Henderson doesn't know how to run and all he does is simple passes back to where the ball came from, Lingaard is, well, himself, and Eric Dier is... Yeah.

Sweden might not be the best team in that department either, but it doesn't take much to overrun the midfield, where this match will ultimately be won (imo) - Sweden will close up as soon as they can and play on the counter, and if England have no ideas they'd have to revert to flooding the box and open up to counters, which could hurt even more. We saw against Belgium that the opposition doesn't have to be expertly defending to be able to stop the attacks, so...

Would be classed as a big upset if they don't advance.
