I think I have got to grips with how the commentary team think this game is played, English players don’t foul, French players give away a free kick every time an English player falls down and Johnny Foreigner is a cheat.

No worries mate, I hope you're right and England do get back into it - if only because it means drama.

My concern is that this has all the hallmarks of the classic, "almost, but for the ref, Pickford, VAR" heroic English exit. Would love to be proved wrong and see them seize the second half, move the ball with purpose and properly get at that French defence.
