Arteta2391

Player Valuation: £30m
I know, I know....this is a hard one.

the tittle is self explanatory.

Mikel Arteta's shot (goal) against Fiorentina at Goodison park. I was literally in tears for the last 20 minutes of that match.

GOODISON LOOKED BOSS THAT NIGHT.

Well it must be the Semi-Final. Lots of memories from that day, Z Cars at Wembley, I fought back the tears. Cahill missing, my world was over and then...........

1985, Fa Cup Final, I was 11 years old, cried like a baby when we got beat. That was the last time I can recall crying over Everton, but I cried when Jags scored.

I think everybody in blue felt 10feet tall.

No contest . When Bally rang our house . This legend took half an hour out of his day to call me , a rag-arse blue , and was as mad for it then , 2006 as the day he left this club in tears . Oh , he also asked to speak to my 93 year old Nanna , a season ticket holder of 30 years herself . THAT said it all about the man . He then gave me his home address to send a shat-load of stuff to get signed , ( I'd sent it recorded and put £30 in for return cost . He returned it with the dough inside . Again , THAT was Bally . We were blessed to have him ).
Proud ???
Ask anyone who knows me how fukn proud I was .
No match will ever top that .
Who's the greatest of them all .....??

Just reading that makes me proud to be a blue.

The semi last season, if I ever feel like I did when Jagielka scored that penalty again I'll die a happy person, absolutely amazing

Thats a truely fantastic post, I'm sitting here with goosebumps all over from that

Semi Final with out a doubt. Best feeling I've ever had.

Closely followed by Rooney v Arsenal. That was special.

Goslings goal against them wern't bad .....but the Rotterdam final was my everlasting memory.....I had tears streaming down my face when the cup was lifted......I was one of last to leave the ground......Absoloutly supberb.....:)

Ditto, plus:
Bayern Munich
Semis versus Leeds in 1968, Luton in 1985 and espec Highbury in 1984 - every blue in the ground went mental...

and LCAB's derby moment in 1967

Proud of all of these..because I was there.

The Dignity, Respect and Honour that the entire Club conducts itself with when remembering former players or pulling together in the community, or when leading by example abroad.

P.S. If I were to choose a game , it'd probably be the 84 Highbury Semi , in that we'd been beaten by the Shabs in the other final , and after So'ton it was Watford or Plymouth in the final . It was my Eureka moment .
Doesnt come near Bally though . Oh , and as Treb'66 said , the ground went mental , and L.C.A.B.'s Diamond Pringle got a T.V. outing getting twirled above my head as I cantered around the turf . Good days , gents . Good days indeed .

Nice Memory, LCAB.

I didn’t like Heath as a player that much. But for that moment, Inchy, thank you
