Protests Today?

yep , i hope everyone still backs the players.
but protesting isnt pointless if it gets the feelings of the fans across.
the best protest imo is to block kenwright and co from entering the stadium at street level.

if no new players are coming in , then neither are the board.

The best, and only protest that works really, is abandoning the match, it loses money for the board and gets the fans point of view across.

no disrespect meant , but a clean tidy stadium will put more bums on seats.
its hard to expand the fan base when watching football at goodison is like watching football in a public toilet. thats the sad truth.
So you would rather watch football at Reebok or Riverside than Goodison Park? Funny how so many away fans tell Everton is their favourite away match.

To be fair Makis, thats a bit of an extreme comparison mate.

The Kirkby design was by far suprerior, and it isn't in the middle of nowhere like the Riverside, Kirkby would be similar to Goodison, it would have housing/pubs etc around it.

Await the march of the uninformed.

Last week you stated as a FACT that players would be brought in by Monday.
Personally I hope you are 100% correct in this as it is as plain as the nose on your face that we are short of players.
However the clock is ticking.......

Where Everton, we don't protest. Nothing major will happen anyway.

I'll be protesting if we don't sign anyone in this current transfer window, if that happens then we have every right too. But I'm going to give the club time before I say anything, they've promised signings and we'll see what happens.

It's still far away from the closure of the transfer window though, there's no point protesting at the PSV game and then two days later we sign Moutinho, Mbia and Milito etc.

Just wait and see what happpens really, see if Kenwright and Moyes deliver.

Yeah. Any match protests are going to do as much harm to the players as it will to the board, and i'd be very surprised if the board don't think the fanbase are gonna be frustrated with whats gone on this summer anyway so any protest isn't gonna do any good at all.

not sure how you come to that conclusion buddy.

the atmosphere at goodison is second to none.
but you cannot deny it is aesthetically a complete [Poor language removed] hole.
my point is/was that its not appealing to new fans.
the building in its current dilapadation isnt going to put extra bums on seats . where as a clean , well built stadia will .

i said on a post the other day about old trafford. after taking my son there and saw how immaculate it was , i was truely ashamed of goodisons appearance .

Most of the home games last season there was very little atmosphere?
I remember alot of the games i was sat with my head in my hands thinking please end!!!

A new home will not change the atmosphere only the team can do that and at this rate we can all enjoy the long ball game again.

if you're put off goodison park because the current stadium isn't clean enough for your liking, who d'you think'll be responsible for cleaning at any new stadium??

If people feel the need to protest why not hire the gobshytes they love a protest:lol:.Its not the Everton way to protest and to be honest its a bit late.we should have started at the beginning of our demise,When Sir John Moores illness left us in limbo with no one wanting to take hard and unpopular actions.although I criticize Kenwright for his bullshit its a fact that he has inherited a club in trouble and has not really done anything to rectify it but is only as guilty as the Moores family , who let us freewheel towards disaster. Now is the time for all fans to back the team and manager.I think Bill will sell as soon as he can as his place is untenable so whats the point of the protest ?to let him know we are not happy perhaps?. I'm sure he has already gathered that and to those who think about not going great . the club is on the bones and you want to reduce even further what cash we have I know our situation hurts believe you it hurts me just as much. as I have said like the old war poster YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU and they need you now(y)

i agree, good post. i suspect the attendance yesterday is enough of a protest, although i'm sure they're aware of there being some disquiet amongst the fans for a variety of reasons.
