So if you are watching Everton play Norwich on the telly, empty stadium lets say City's ground..

We score a late winner, would anyone watching at home even celebrate ?

Genuine question as I wouldn't be arsed in the slightest.

I wouldn’t even be watching.

I’m quite enjoying watching some of the older matches that are popping up online, not really missed football at all though, it wouldn’t sit right if it re-started, I don’t think I’d even bother with it anymore.
True mate. I'm enjoying it too. If the F1 was on I'd not be arsed in the slightest about the football. Or even if there was no lockdown, I wouldn't waste any time thinking about anything football-related.

Rumoured to have start of behind closed doors football at the end of June according to the Mirror in Boris Sunday guildlines, however no word on the 100 notes from all the Premiership doctors.

Boris said he wants daily testing up to 200k by end of May but he can't get to 100k now!

Plus 200k confirmed tested, seeing footballers getting tested twice a weekf (compare to German league) but Hospital staff and Care Homes staff, especially criminally under tested, still haven't been tested is really sickening.

But looking at the steps, I fear a 2nd Wave is not far-off it with people back to workplace's with travel increasing and households bubbles expanded.

By June, we need to hitting numbers lower than 100 deaths a day, how weird is it to say that, for any sport to even be contemplated.

I don't agree with all this rubbish.

I wish Everton would come out and oppose any neutral ground suggestions. If they agree to that then they're handing the title on a plate to Liverpool. Our vote could be the one that swings it in favour of being cancelled.

The club are not bothered who wins what, the club will be looking after their own interests (as will all the clubs) and if they think that playing at neutral grounds will ensure the games get played and they get the amount of income that is due then they will, irrespective if the local rivals happen to be in a position to win the league or not.

Now if we were in a relegation slot then I am sure our vote would be a tad different.

If the RS were in the drop zone no doubt their fans would be having a frenzy at the mere mention of games being played, null and void would be their new moto, we all know this.

Everyone looking out for themselves.

Another Farce of a report, sure these are making this stuff up as they go along lol, they have had nearly 8 weeks rest now

Don't worry mate, I've heard they'll force the players to have static caravan holidays outside the neutral grounds that have been chosen.

Top of the list for neutral stadiums are

Plough Lane
Roker Park
Upton Park
Highbury
Maine Road
Ayresome Park
The Dell
Filbert Street
Vetch Field
Anfield

They've got their finger on the pulse and all under control mate.

Can't wait to see what madness tomorrow brings.

Premier league chiefs have been trialling 'social distancing disks' that are worn around the feet of the players to prevent them from getting too close during the game. So far the tests have involved disks that provide about a metre's gap when two players touch but they hope to increase this during testing by using different materials.

FIFA are keeping an eye on this exciting development and have already mocked up how international teams could look:

:p

Absolutely fuming here.
Five Live just pled a piece by Andy Burnham. He was asked about his thoughts on the restart. His response was him saying he's a purist, and that he has doubts about the integrity of the sport when playing behind closed doors in empty stadia.
The sports reporter's immediate response was to inform the listeners that he is an Everton fan, and that restarting the league would see the RS get the title, but wasn't suggesting that necessarily wasn't the reason for Burnham's thinking. Wtf mention it then?
