Again it needs reiterating for any lurkers, it’s not about being against you, it’s about common sense and not spreading the virus further, very minimal amounts of sport can do that under social distancing and contact sports such as football aren’t one of them
If you can show me how you can social distance during the taking of a corner, sound.
If you can show me social distancing when stood in a wall defending a free kick, sound.
If you can show me how not to get sweat on the ball when heading it sound.

Quite. 99% of folk wake up and either leg it to work to cure folk, deliver crap, stock shelves, fret about relatives, fret about money/health.

1% fret about a piece of tin.

It’s all a load of nonsense and won’t happen.

The Government are pushing something they know will not happen at all as it diverts everyone’s attention from there own shortfalls right now.

There’s not been any developments today, we’re exactly were we where yesterday as they’re kicking the can down the road hoping something will change soon.

It won’t, it’ll be cancelled in the next month when everyone accepts they’ve got no where to go.

I’m very confident at least 70% of the PL clubs have no intention of playing football again in this season and will make sure it doesn’t get played. They’re just saying all the right things at the moment whilst waiting for 1 of the Government, UEFA or the PL collectively to make that decision for them.

It will get cancelled.

Their big sticking point is Sky and BT money. Are Sky and BT going to sue them? No.

What happens if they do? The Prem takes their product away and says fine, we'll do it ourselves or with Amazon/BBC. The Prem has leverage here but they don't seem to want to use it.

The BBC won’t be dishing out vast sums of money to show live football, Connor.

It is called zorbing or zorb football and it is an idea that I mooted some weeks ago. If I find out someone on here has tried to pass my idea off as their own I swear down I will call in my lawyers and these guys are hard nose bastards as well.
That was me.
Let's sort this out like men, Morrison's car park. We'll obviously have to keep 2 metres apart though.

Simon Jordan with a good point here. Null and void season, no winners/relegation.

As there would be no parachute payments next season, that money can be sent down the leagues with WBA and Leeds getting a fair chunk as a compensation for no promotion

Then do the same for a portion of next years TV deal for the clubs who have been saved from relegation.

Lyon owner has a point, some teams have already had the advantage

If we were to do anything like that then you would have to remove the extra game played by some clubs. What if they won the last game? They would be disadvantaged. If they lost it then removing that loss would benefit them.

“We see that these standings are illogical. I don’t want to single out a club more than another but Nice played at home more than us and faced Paris St Germain (PSG) only once while we played them twice,” he explained.
