Neither the Champions League or Europa League will return this summer. Countries are too far apart in dealing with the virus that you could cause an even wider spread if they start flying elsewhere.

They only need the fans to create the atmosphere for the game on TV. Or do they? We are about to find out.
For all PL clubs the match going fan is there to be monetised and nothing else.
Stupid kick off times. Matches rescheduled at the drop of a hat. Games on a Friday & Monday night when
opposition fans have a 8-10 hour round trip. The match going fan is nothing but an inconvenience to the clubs
these days and it's been that way since the PL & SKY invented the game in 1992.

And what has NOT happened is that the authorities have not consulted fans, or fans' organisations. Now that is potentially a big deal.

No one knows what will happen if games behind closed doors are introduced. For example, how many RS mutants will turn up outside the ground to follow the game. Thousands? How will that be policed? Multiply that many times over for other grounds. Fights break out between Police and crowd. People injured needing hospital/medical treatment.

Behind closed doors. Season ticket holders across the country? They've paid in advance to see live games, not TV-screened games. Hmmm.

These are issues the Football Authorites have not, as far as I am aware, spoken one word about.
