I do think ultimately Amazon will the get the gig but not for a few years yet. The reason being is once SKY lose the broadcasting rights
The PL lose the total control of the media which they currently have. The PL & SKY are the two cheeks of the same backside.
Via SKY the PL control the footballing agenda and the narrative being put forward to the armchair masses who stump up their £70
a month every month. Together the PL & SKY control the newspapers who want the clicks & hits to generate advertising revenue.
It really is a cosy little arrangement which, todate, has worked exceptionally well for all concerned. Amazon could literally blow SKY
out of the water for the broadcasting rights by using a bit of the loose change they have down the back of one of their sofa's! and
eventually, I believe they will do it. As you say, I also think they will have a very different model and it will also be much cheaper. Amazon have built their
business on scale. They go after the masses. However they do it - it has to be better than the current biased output which is literally infested
by Liverpool & United cohorts. Bring it on!

What makes you think Amazon won’t succumb to the same malaise, Paul.

I would be surprised if they did :(

after seeing glenn murray interviewed on football focus i find it hard to see how they're going to restart the season anytime soon. only 3 players allowed in training ground at one time, have to turn up already changed, park at least 3 car spaces away from the next car, 1 player to a pitch, bit of running and sprints, no ball work, no contact with anyone else, do your bit and go home. :(

as for this playing in neutral grounds that should be a complete no no for me.

Ridiculous isn't it. If there was any chance at all of football coming back in June then they'd be playing friendlies by now to get back to match fitness.

It's one player to a pitch in training , yet they want 22 on one for a match ? Total lunacy

Because they don't actually care. For them football would simply be a vehicle to get you to use thier Amazon web site.
I have been to Amazon corporate presentations both in the UK and the USA and their stated aim is simply total world
domination of the online retail space and they are completely up front about it. They want you to sign up to the football / tennis / golf
so they can get you to use their websites. Therefore they need to appeal to everyone - so they will.
The problem would be getting unbiased 'pundits' and commentators on board. However I can believe that can be solved by
having an ex Everton player or pro Everton pundit on an Everton game. An ex Man City Player or pro City pundit on a City game etc.
The BT coverage of the Champions League when we first started was a total disgrace with United & Liverpool pundits who were
openly anti City So much so, the club actually made a formal complaint to them and since it has got slightly better (but not much when you Michael Owen,
Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes, McManaman etc - how can it?). Amazon are not overly interested in making money from football (obviously,
eventually they would) they only want it as a vehicle to get you to their websites. That's my theory anyway! :p

Now that could be a game changer!

They ve been put into 15 day quarantine althoughtraining individually still on but if 1 is a player?
This will be reported to Health and League Board for meeting next wednesday so presure will be on government to make right decision ;-) Players like Sule starting to moan in press they ll go back but unhappy if forced ;-(

They won’t be able to force any player anywhere to play.
