I don't find it funny how so many people are dying and more will continue to do so with the resumption of football. This sad act obviously thinks its funny though, because they believe I'm a bitter blue and annoyed about football resumong meaning that they'll win the title.

All of their reactions have been directed at blues' posts about the resumption of football, a complete lack of awareness about the horrific amount of deaths worldwide. But they don't care about that, the only sad thing in their life is the RS winning the league. What a pathetic person who doesn't have the balls to even post on here.

Its not just about the economy. Its about everything.. the amount the economy is being damaged is going to destroy peoples lives, and the people worst affected will be the poorest members of society.

But it is causing problems for everyone. I've got a mate who's spent 20 years building up a business from nothing. He owns 3 pubs and was just about to open a 4th. He's meticulous so he's got a bit of money aside but this is obviously not a good time for him. I'm also hearing of people from all sorts of backgrounds in all sorts of jobs being in danger of redundancy.

Even people in more secure jobs are not having a great time. I know a few people working from home in stressful jobs and its having a big negative impact on their state of mind.

And hiding from this virus doesn't eliminate it. I understand the logic of protecting the NHS with a lockdown but it is a short term measure with bad side effects.

Its all very difficult and I can't offer you any great solutions but framing it just as a Tory thing to get things going again doesn't make sense. It makes sense from every perspective, Capitilist, Socialist, however you want to call it.

FWIW - I don't care about the football coming back though. Thats just not important, yet.

And for yoir info, its activity like the attached document that makes you a kopite. Everything you react to is in the RS or project restart phase thread. You have got to be the only person to like a post by radiostar!

Although being diplomatic about it, tbh I woke up ready for a rant this morning and just wanted to say what I said. The point being that from every perspective we need to get going again.

So talking of quoting, there was really no need to quote your original message. It was a case of expressing an opinion that looked like I was disagreeing with you, when infact I just wanted to sound off. So perhaps we should just both enjoy the rest of the day.

On the other hand, the frustration of lockdown is starting to get to me and I'm still feeling quite volatile so if you do want a massive pointless internet argument, I can probably be goaded quite easily :)

How about this, I dress as a native american chieftain, you dress as a construction worker, we get one of the mods to dress as a motorcycle cop, and we all sing YMCA in honour of the upcoming restart?

The issue is though "hiding from the virus" (effectively code for socially distancing, locking down etc) is exactly what will defeat it. It passes from person to person. The best thing people can do is hide away if your goal is to defeat the virus.

But some scientists are saying a lockdown will never defeat the virus because a certain percentage of us need to get it before enough people are immune. So we aren't defeating it at all. Are we just prolonging the inevitable? (and yes I know the NHS overload is a factor here at least in the short term).

Just to be clear, I'm not a virologist so I don't know the answers....

And I'm in the wrong thread anyway

And I've bought 2 pairs or trainers online and one is too big and the other is too small and so I need to go a shop which is obviously far more important than a world wide health crises. OPEN THE SHOE SHOPS.
