So when Joe Anderson mentions it being unsafe due to the likelihood of Liverpool fans congregating around stadiums he gets all kinds of abuse, bitter blue, chippy tits etc not to mention official statements from the cult slamming him
Yet when the police come out with it not a word....

To be fair its the National Police Chiefs' Council and UK Football Policing Unit that has questioned the RS inability to behave.
Merseyside police apparently dont see a problem - what a surprise...

Im not sure why it matters mate?

You think home advantage matters in an empty stadium?
I think it's just the principle mate,i agree about the advantage, but even that miniscule advantage is taken away so you are left with a "home" match basically being played as a one off "semi final"at a neutral venue behind closed doors,i think what grinds people's gears is because it's that shower and the decision will be because their lot can't be trusted to stay behave.

im just watching Aussie rugby playing behind closed doors they've got crowd noise in background alot better than all the echos and players voices when watching German football. Not sure if its just for tv or players can here it as well. I can hardly tell the difference .

Think some of the German games did have this, think it depends on the TV network. Worked well though, I thought.

It's as if the authorities have no idea whatsoever what football fans are like.
Let's suppose the derby is played in Manchester. Do they really not expect any fans, blue or red, to drive down the East Lancs Road (or M62) to be there, added to that the possibility that some City and/or United fans may turn up to cause trouble?
Have they really thought this through?
It's just shifting the issue from one police force to another.

I posted the same thing a few pages back.

I added, what if the police force with responsibility for the neutral venue said the game was not to go ahead due to safety concerns and their inability to guarantee that they could police any gathering safely. It's not just about fans getting together and ignoring the 2 metre rule, but police then having to get in among them to disperse them, and the likely confrontations that might follow. It needs one or more police authorities to say an outright 'No'.

What I think WILL happen, is that games will be allowed to take place at neutral venues. And when crowds turn up, it will be the crowds who will be blamed, not the authorities for making the games happen in the first place. A perfect 'excuse/passing the buck scenario'.

The authorities are desperate to get the Man City/Arsenal and the Sheff U/Villa games played, so that every team has then played the same number of games. That way they can declare the season null and void and award lfc the title and if necessary the three relegation places, as has happened in Scotland and Belgium and the Netherlands I think. Uneven matches played causes a legal minefield. I can't see the season being completed but can see them wanting those two games played as a must.

Not a fan of it at all, feel like I’m going insane hearing voices in my head.

Watched Freiburg v Leverkusen live last night. Although you couldn't see any fans I certainly heard them. ( "honestly doctor"). Must have been outside the stadium. Ps I only had one beer and haven't taken LSD for years.
