Nah because this means more lid....
Looking closer at the statement, wonder if they're hoping to get the ties sorted so everyone's played the same games so they can justify ppg if it does have a flare-up?

1000%

Genuinely believe that’s the reason they haven’t cancelled it already.

When they clinch their title, it’s one less decision and the dominos can fall from then.

No chance the season is played to conclusion ....As soon as # of matches played are the same AND the RS clinch mathematically ....100% the season is curtailed !
Absolute waste of time.....

I cant say I would be in any hurry to help out multi-billion pound club owners.

Nor multibillion pound broadcasters like ComCast.
You know we'll be the ones dumped with the cost long term.

If we're all in it together why do we hear sweet FA about them shouldering some of the costs of the new reality.
I neither own a Sky or BT contract so perhaps they've done so and it's not been publicised but that would be a surprise.

Arsenal probably have no chance of Europe so I hope Arteta and the board use the last few games to check out more of the younger prospects in some games and shop window any saleable players. Bar Sheffield Utd and relegation threatened clubs, the next few weeks will be training exercises.

No VAR in place ( not that I'm a fan etc, ) we may see epic levels of ref cheating in the derby ! Given our past ...that is a very scary proposition !

Not even arsed watching even if it’s free to air, this season ended months ago.

Now reading that the derby will be played in Manchester due to the scum congregating to celebrate their halfway title, this season has turned into a farce.
If the match is played in Manchester, then rs di*ckheads will go there. Could be carnage. It'd be better off at Finch Farm, except the rs are turning up even there with replica trophies the big bunch of saddoes.

The conversation on this should be simple

Premier League: "We need the Goodison Derby to be played at a neutral venue".

Liverpool: "Yeah, Great, no problem".

Everton: "Yeah that's fine, as long as next season we can play both Derby games at Home".

Liverpool: "No that would be ridiculous, and not how a league works".
