This is a game I fell in love with as a child. Now there is little left of that game. I watched the German stuff for less that 10 minutes. Quite ridiculous.
There is no integrity in these plans, just greed and favouritism.
There is no morale boost for the unwashed, just embarrassment and cringe.
There is no desire from players and supporters to do this, just the shame of self interested businesses
VAR had already sickened me and spoilt my enjoyment
I just dont care anymore and it makes me sad.

Put it better than I ever could, totally agree with this, it's an absolute shadow of the game I love.

Even if we had skin in the game, and the blues were playing, I don't think I could actually be aresd! Imagine the Merseyside derby BCD - it's a farce.

All the while this charade goes on, people are contracting the virus and/or dying from it, but we can test footballers before front line NHS staff? Sickens me, and even tho Germany are better prepared than we are, it still sickens me that they have started again.

That's the point though isn't it , nobody can guarantee that it can be made safe at the moment.

But companies are now opening. Warehouses and takeaways, etc. At the end of the day football is a business and got every right to try and get football back.up.and running.

Scottish League done!

Curtained/Null/Void/Finished whatever you choose.

No point risking lives but obviously money talks.

Totally disagree with how they have decided it all. Feel big time for hearts, used average PPG to relegate them when they were only 4 points adrift with 24 points still to play for - disgrace for me that, and totally goes against any kind of sporting integrity call imo. Can they afford to take legal action due to the poor level of finances and prize money in the jock league? The worst way to call a league for me, joke.

Premier League Shareholders today voted unanimously to return to small-group training from tomorrow afternoon, the first step towards restarting the Premier League, when safe to do so.

Step One of the Return to Training Protocol enables squads to train while maintaining social distancing. Contact training is not yet permitted.

This first stage has been agreed in consultation with players, managers, Premier League club doctors, independent experts and the Government.

Strict medical protocols of the highest standard will ensure everyone returns to training in the safest environment possible.

The health and wellbeing of all participants is the Premier League’s priority, and the safe return to training is a step-by-step process.

Full consultation will now continue with players, managers, clubs, the PFA and LMA as protocols for full-contact training are developed.

Tackling will be banned, pitches disinfected and players restricted to groups of five when the Premier League starts a first phase of team training.
