Project restart discussion.

Norwich sporting director:

In my opinion, it needs to be settled on the pitch, not off the pitch," he told Sky Sports on The Football Show.

"A big question we have around restarting is, it's fine if we restart and three teams get relegated. We look at it as though we're only six points off 16th rather than being adrift. But if we do [go down], that's fine, because that's where football should be played. Football should be played on a pitch and not in the boardroom.

"But the Championship has to restart and play all their games also. What we could not accept is a situation where we play out all our games, get relegated but then the Championship can't play - because we don't even know if the government are going to let them play - and then they automatically promote some teams who haven't finished the season.

Just going to post this, you can see his point.

Things will start to get really messy soon as looks like the Championship, L1 and L2 wont finish.

I don't really see his point to be honest. I mean I agree with him generally, that PPG isn't fair, and I think they should just bin the whole thing, but not the 'what we couldn't accept' bit. If Norwich go down because they finish bottom then that's their problem, it makes absolutely no difference who replaces them. Other teams in the Championship would have a right to be annoyed, but not the teams relegated from the PL.

He is right, I think his statement also comes across as him saying "Norwich deserve to be in the championship" ha in which case, he is so right.

This is a great point, but it will go unnoticed as no one cares about Norwich. When you think about it, that club is just as important to its fans and employees as any other

Never had a convo with them, so they've never disagreed with me.

I accept your apology
Don’t be so hard faced

He's a kopite Groucho @roydo and here's the proof.

The key word here is we, as in referring to Liverpool who where the subject of this discussion. No Evertonian even in error would substitute "we"for "they" in this context
