Opinions haven't changed though, 99.8% of players don't want to play.

I hope some come out and say something, I seen a Tweet from a Norwich player last night, and he got a lot of abuse, mainly from Leeds and Liverpool obviously, its all well and good those who work in the office at clubs saying yes lets go and play, they arnt the ones coming into physical contact on a pitch
I saw that when it was posted on here so clicked on the Tweet to look at the replies, and it was mainly Leeds and Big Red fans who don't play contact sport for a living saying "well we're going back to work so why shouldn't you?"
I exited Twitter at that moment.

Top-level sport in England, including the Premier League, could restart behind closed doors from June 1 but spectators may not be able to attend venues until a vaccine is found.
The Government’s road map for exiting the lockdown, imposed to limit the spread of coronavirus, was published on Monday afternoon, setting out the conditions under which various activities can be safely carried out.
Step two of the road map, which cannot begin any earlier than June 1, includes “permitting cultural and sporting events to take place behind closed-doors for broadcast, while avoiding the risk of large-scale social contact”.
This will only be possible though if sufficient progress is made in limiting the spread of the virus between now and then, but the document entitled ‘Our Plan to Rebuild: The UK Government’s Covid-19 Recovery Strategy’ says that “organisations should plan accordingly”.
It is less clear when supporters will be able to return to venues.
The document talks about venues such as cinemas and hairdressers reopening in step three - no earlier than July 4 - but states: “Some venues which are, by design, crowded and where it may prove difficult to enact distancing may still not be able to reopen safely at this point, or may be able to open safely only in part.”

Should have been the end of it a while ago,but these been these will still have it back no matter when,just hope this cut off point of Aug 2nd thats been said over the weeks was right as the more cramped it gets to fit games in,surely the more they dont do it. they cant even come up with dates for the season to restart, they dont know when players can go back to training etc so it just pushes it on more
According to all the fume, the bank holiday weekend/VE day celebrations/easing of restrictions should mean a massive spike in 2 or 3 weeks, which will put another spanner in the works of any 'second step' review
Weren't the Premier looking at restarting in June anyway?
