Numbers are only dropping because the vast majority of us haven't been able to go anywhere. The times we do venture out we keep our distance and stare at everyone like they are an axe murderer.
Again I'm talking theoretically. The assumption that people gathering would lead to that going up again when in all honesty that isnt guaranteed. Especially of those people weren't sick.
The measures in place sure are to make sure people don't get sick again and I'm absolutely for that , especially over the next several months. No crowds at football , no events etc fine by me.
I'm just saying that people gathering aren't guaranteed to suddenly get sick and die theoretically. Whereas 8 weeks ago the chance of that happening was much greater as it wasn't a thing here in the UK.
Remember the figures are retrospective. So if less people are dying right now than ever before (which would show in 2 weeks) then you are looking asymptomatically now rather than I'll.
