Oh hang on, this thing is pretty snazzy.

You get push notifications on your phone if you install it.

You can do it on desktop as well on Google Chrome.

I remember making a little site once and added something to the site manifest in the header that meant you could save the site to home screen.

It was pretty cool as I made an icon which it showed like an app icon on the home screen, then when I tapped to launch it, it didn’t open the normal safari browser it was like a full screen app.

Is this what that is? (But probably a lot more complex than my first site lol)

Yeah it's a bit of a continuation of that really. Looks like Apple don't like it though;
