Single or double glazed ?
Approximate size of pane ?
Mates rates ?
Cash in hand ?

Not that I know or anything, just trying to look professional.

£250 fitted.....

ffs - you are a rip off merchant !!!

We had a double glazed opener pane ( approx 1.5 by 0.5m ) replaced for ~ £70 a few months ago, went through the books as well. Can't see a single glazed slightly larger porch pane being much different.

Mind you, we are in the sticks here, prices might not have caught up with reality round here.

Got quoted 85 notes today. I just said i'd let him know and tried to look like I knew what the price should be.

Fair point lad

Frank - I'd only hire PeteBlue on the understanding that the fitter looks like the avatar. Alternatively the fitter can be a hairy arsed bloke as long as they bring a fitter's mate to flirt with you and flash cleavage / rub up against you on a regular basis.

Actually ... £85 seems a tad steep. Get a couple more quotes and see how it goes.
