Previous five managers first 23 games

...I assume we got beat today.
Yup
But it was dull mate, dire.
Could've been 3-0 at HT, and 5 or 6 at FT, no problem.
I watched it Sun morn my time, finishing my brekkie was the 2nd place high point of the morning.
So I turned it off after 35 mins, went for my morning crap. Came back, didn't turn it back on, felt much better as a result of those two decisions.
Edit; Watched 2mins of highlights...Keane again caught/ left stranded up near the halfway line on the rhs.

We lose or draw the next 2 games the wolves will be out in force. Holy crap if we see another manager go......the board are gonna be put under heavy scrutiny. Hes surely gotta turn this round
Scrutiny, aka, a balloon on a stick, yeah like that'll worry them.
A poor mid table placing is nothing compared to selling on a Premier League Club with a brand new stadium.
Thats the real aim of the whole process.

Difference between fat Sam and Sílva?

We always new fat Sam was going to leave!!!!!

Sílva is just another foul blot on our ever shrinking reputation as one of the premierships big six.

From top to bottom we have always been out spent, out managed and outplayed whoever is in charge
but with a little cup/league run every ten years or so to give us a little only to be dashed.

Sadly this is what it is like supporting Everton, the quicker you accept this the less it hurts.:celebrate::cheers::dance:
We haven’t been considered a member of the ‘Premiership top six’ since about a minute after we helped create it.

Sometimes you strike Gold!

... but what have they won?
Which means it doesn’t fit your narrative so you will just ignore it?
And we will probably ignore Arsenal since their last 2 managers have come from Japan or unemployed.
And even Man utd whose last managers were from Norway, unemployed, Dutch national team, Everton and Aberdeen.

I'd argue that Silva has had a bigger job since Moyes in terms of rebuilding.

Matrinez improved over what Moyes left...then left it worse
Koeman improved over what Martinez left...then left it worse
Allardyce salvaged what Koeman left...didnt make it worse, it just looked worse.
Silva has overhauled what Koeman and Allardyce left...it may sometimes look a bit better, but in reality it isn't
If you plot that as a graph the trend is down

And for that 30pts in 23 games thing, Martinez's last 23 games got us 25pts.
But on the good side there were cup games won...and on the bad side...semis bottled.

In the long run you can't pull the wool over fans eyes.

It's possible to show evidence of improvement but not pick up the points you might deserve.

There isn't a discernible positive game plan to affect the opposition, we remain defensively suspect, and Silva doesn't appear capable at least at present of raising the energy levels of the players beyond an infuriating strolling pace.

The fact is currently that the dross on show, 5 signings later, is equivalent to his predecessor, the most derided Everton manager in history, who had more points to show for it.

I hope for Silva's sake that the board don't crystallise things in those terms, as if they do, he is packing his bags here sooner or later.

It does look better as you're talking about a clear out of 6 seasons of football including players, staff, and type of football under Silva.

None of this happened to this extent under the previous managers since Moyes.

After steering his team to the bottom of the league and then doing one I look forward to that jarg Klopp fella who just left Huddersfield rocking up at Finch Farm next season. Impeccable Everton credentials.
He’d certainly fit our tradition of gifting Liverpool 6 points a season
