SOME OF THE SILVA PRE MATCH BURNLEY P/C

Walcott and Gomes available
Marco Silva says it's really good news to have Andre Gomes & Theo Walcott on the training pitch today & both are available for the trip to Burnley

Gbamin update
We saw him on the pitch for the first time this morning. We’ll see how he reacts.
It’s step-by-step, good to seeing him run.

Silva on Zouma
It’s too far to talk about this.
We are fully-focused on our players and what we can do to improve.
The window re-opens, we will talk.

Silva on DCL
It’s natural for all strikers to be selfish. It’s important for them when they score and the confidence is different.
It’s really important for him

Silva on Pressure
We are not happy when we look at the table. We work always to win. But I know one way to improve: work hard. Learn from the things, show bigger commitment, bigger desire. I don't feel more pressure...I feel more desire to work.

Silva on Pickford's form
We spoke at the beginning of the season about Jordan.
Some of you asked me about his form, saying he was stable.
Because we conceded from a free-kick, it hasn’t changed anything.
I always analyse the game and look at what we can improve or not.
Jordan’s worked hard this week. It’s what I want from him.
The very good things he does are good for his confidence and there are things we can all work on and improve.

Silva on Man City defeat
I said to our players after the match, that we didn't take the main thing but we took many, many positives.
We were able to create chances against a top, top side

Silva on Current Situation
We are aware, but we are not in panic

Silva on Burnley
Sean Dyche is doing a good job. They don’t change things season after season.
Specific type of game. Really physical team.. it’ll be tough. It’s tough for everyone to play there.
They always want to challenge. They have two strong strikers, you have to switch on from the first minute.
You have to show quality to create problems for them. Our main goal is to win the game.

Silva on potential England recall for Delph
It would be very good news for us.
We help our players to achieve the best level they can, it’s important.
It’s part of my job to work with them and help them.

No other injuries
Silva confirms no other injuries

Is it just me or should Walcott absolutely not be playing? There's not a doubt in my mind he got a concussion last weekend, he really should be recuperating, not chancing aggravating it again.
I still have it in my head, dont know if i am making this up,but i always thought a concussion was a auto 3 weeks not allowed to play thing.

I think the FA mandate the same concussion protocol as RL now, so they have a series of cognitive tests they'll have to pass with the club doctor. Pass those and you're good, don't pass those you won't be doing contact training or playing.

He says the same shibite every week, We've lost 4 games in 5 m8 you seem way to lax.

Cant watch them any more. Every one is a carbon copy of the previous and they are incomprehensible, lack any substance, passion or personality. We are sitting just above the relegation zone after an appalling start to the season and he is all blablabla-lalalalalala and doesn't feel my any pressure. Yeah ok Mr Silva. Load of bollox, the pressure is massively on him now.

He can hardly say "I'm terrified that I'll get the sack if we don't win this one", can he?

....i’m sure he’ll mention Gomes is back in training. I’d like somebody to ask about Lewis Gibson’s contract situation.

I'll get ya Phil Kirkbrides email address eggs so you can ask him to do his job properly.

Like you say, very bizarre how nothing has been confirmed when you think about the fee we paid for him in the first place and him being with the first team a lot over pre season.

Strange is it that he is complimentary about Dyche and his brand of football getting results. Seems to me the excuses are being prepared.
