So Fellaini becomes a moronic thug and lands a nice long ban over Xmas and New Year, which is handy for him. He also pisses off his manager at a time when he is being linked to a big move from Goodison.

Now I'd like to believe that he's not bright enough to work something like that out for himself but after witnessing his behaviour yesterday I can't believe it was nothing more than retaliation.

I'd like to see him fined the wages to match whatever ban is coming, made to train on his own every day over the holiday period and then sold on.

The club is bigger than a toe-rag like that.

I can see a 6 match ban coming up for him, why he did that knowing there are camera's all over the place is beyond me.

Why does John terry shout what he does , or someone chant at a match or fight in a boozer ? People get caught up in the moment and get wound up , it's not being an apologist but their behaviour got under his skin and he reacted.

Heaven forbid our players actually have passion and show emotions.

It's more than that though isn't it? Having one pop at Shawcross is one thing but he stopped to look around and then butted him a second later. At least when Dunc used to have a pop at someone it'd be directly in the heat of the moment. We're probably going to miss him like hell and how Moyes handles this now is going to be a major test of his management skills.

Don't get me wrong i thought Stoke were horrible ****s all across the park yesterday but it was hardly a surprise that they were going to act like that. You could see it bubbling away with Felli so why one of the staff didnt try and get a message to him or one of the other players to calm him down also needs looking at

Oh you poor fool, you have believed what MOTD says.

He didnt look around to see if it was "safe", he looked at the Ref to take action against the utter bellwhiff that was clinging onto him like a moron. When he realised the Ref wasnt gonna do anything he took care of it himself.

If he gets more than for it is rather laughable, a headbutt or racism for ffs.
You can say its just ''name calling'' but everyone knows it's a lot, lot more than that

Have you ever played or taken part in a 'physical sport' mate ? Because things, confrontations or clashes, cause you to react in a way that normally you wouldn't . Certainly for me if I used to feel the ref wasn't protecting one of our lads I'd try and leave a bit on the tackle or engineer a coming together , in felliani's case it seems to me he felt he was getting the rough end and reacted . As I've said this isn't a defend more an explanation

On your second point I will say there might be something in that but maybe that's when you miss a 'captain' on the field.
