We have had plenty of decent teams as the home friendly in recent years.

Villarreal, Porto, Celta Vigo, Betis.

All of whom have looked ready for their season as opposed to us. Cant complain about not having a decent game at Goodison.

ha, I doubt it. It might be a run out for the u23s.

That said, I did see Amokachi score a screamer at United Part in the mid 90's.
Also saw Peter Reid lead a first division XI against Drogheda in the mid 80's!
