staying on topic, i doubt investors would say yes to 4th, but no, if we finished 5th on goal difference. They would possibly look at it as only buying 1 player to make the difference next season, and especially with felli's sale imminent they may feel most of the funding for transfers would be provided already. They'd just lower the price they're willing to offer.

anyway, thanks to the OP for sharing, it's just best not to believe, you don't set yourself up for dissapointment that way

Have to agree with this, they either want us or not and apart from anything else getting 4th is still no guarantee we will qualify for the CL.
 
Cooper, if it was hypothetically speakingit would be you offering suggestions for discussion. As you have stated its from a source it's then a rumour!
 

Too many false dawns has made everyone uber-cynical which is why this post has been met with these replies.

I don't think it's massively out of the question though I'd just expect the price to change based on where we finish. Can't see it but there may be people out there that aren't football people who'd only consider buying CL sides.
