Obviously Southall

Also will never forget watching MOTD where Wales let in 7 against the Dutch and Southall got man of the match

Seen him play in "The Match" (celebrity exhibition) a fwe years ago and he took the piss to be honest

Great shout Dario, would be in my list no doubt. Top of the pile for me though is Big Nev - Consistent, leader, vocal and a WINNER, everything an Everton player should aspire to be.
yep macca,I didn't mention him because really he is on another plateau to everyone else,I would go so far to say its Dixie, bally, then big nev in the pantheon of our greatest ever players.

....fine list of quality footballers. The mid 80s team were invariably in the running for titles and cups so their consistency and intensity over a period of games is taken as read. As an old fella, I'm delighted to see Cahill included because he gave absolutely everything in virtually every game he played in an Everton shirt. The added factor in his case was that he was never really in a top side he was just a very fine player and servant to the club.

Lee Carsley? Not a heralded signing and took a while to get going, but a consistent and important cog in Moyes's teams for a good few seasons.
A very good point a groan came when DM signed him that's when we only needed one defensive midfielder not two!
He prove to be a great buy mopped up everthing never stood on the centre half's toes as Barry does!
