Player Valuation: £35m
Last 30 years which Everyon players have put in the most consistent high quality performances?

So for all those players that'd played say at least 25 matches - who would have the highest average ratings from the watching fans/journalists. For me its:

1. Lineker
2. Bracewell
3. Rooney
4. Sheedy
5. Beardsley
6. Kanchelskis
7. Stones
8. Southall
9. Stevens
10. Cahill

Its not easy....

Lineker yeah, tho' Big Nev easily number two then. Beardsley & Sheedy up there.

Rooney was off the pace in a lot of games for us in his second season...he's not top 10. Tony Cottee is.

For those nominating Big Nev, the question asked "which Everyon players have put in the most consistent high quality performances?"

Although he was the greatest Everton keeper in history, his performance levels dipped in the early nineties until he was revitalised in 1994 when Joe Royle became manager.

He was also equally magnificent for at least a decade and extremely consistent.
