My lad has just moved teams as another in the area said they would enter another team in the league if they got enough.
Last Night after 3 training sessions they played against the clubs existing team, who have won the league and cup the last 2 seasons, and they beat them 4-3 with my lad bagging the 3rd to put them in front. So 1st game for them and they beat the champions (only 2nd or 3rd defeat ever).

Played their 1st game against other opposition today, away in Walkden, I think the fella that had rang asking if we wanted a game knew it was our 1st match and that's why he rang. We haven't got our kit or anything yet so had to play in bibs, so looked like the perfect cannon fodder.

We stuffed 'em 11-2, the lad scored one.

Just been to Westhoughton (cow yed to those that know it) for the lads u10's to play against Atherton Town that are 4 divisions above us (our first season) and tbh don't lose very often and only by the odd goal.
A Mr D Wallace and one of his brothers were in attendance as Danny's Gramdson plays for Ath Town, I was told he is vociferous on the line.

We won 8-1.

Mr Wallace had a right lip on him, and I'd have 2 footed him on the touchline but he appears to be in quite bad shape and was struggling to walk, so all in all I'd have felt a bit tight tbh. he doesn't look like Kenny Lynch any more either.

Just got in from playing 5 a side, played our first game in the league but is already mid-season, we replaced another team, managed to win 17 (Seventeen) - 0, scored 6 myself and set up a few

Playing tonight in a over 50 (I know I'm old) cup semi final, Owen Hargreaves dad play's in our team he is still a good player they we hit the ale house and **** each other off, some things never change.

Played 5 a side last night, won 10-3, scored 3 got 12 in the last 3 games :) unbeaten in 6/7 games cant remember the exact number though

play for uni 1s, lost first two games, including last week scoring from left back to put us in front 5 mins before the end only for them to bag a scrappy goal 2 mins into injury time. Played extra time and they again scored in the last minute to make it 3-2. Absolute ball ache. Got another cup game tomorrow, it better not go to extra time.

Won 1st league game 5-0 last weekend and sit atop of the league, away in the morning but only on t'other side of Leigh. We intend to be top for the whole season and after a clean sheet last weekend our keeper is keen to get another, he was only called on 3 times as the defence were mopping up.

A 14-0 Away win this morning, lad scored 2, 1 of which he got the ball in his own area, took it down the wing past about 4 then selfishly took it past the last defender as he cut in and buried it in the far corner from the edge of the box, selfishly cos his mate was in acres of space. It was the final goal though so the other lads were well beaten by then, which meant he rode a couple of 'tackles'* like Canigia against Cameroon.

Star Player wasn't there either today, his Nan couldn't find the ground.

So 2 games in, 19 scored 0 conceded. There was talk last week after winning 5-0 of moving us up 4 divisions, other coaches had informed them that it "will be in those lads best interests really" so god knows what they'll think now, there's a team called Tika Taka Academy........ bring 'em on.

*you can tell this is a Rugby League area.

May come out of retirement tomorrow as an Emergency signing

Pretty sure I'm totally unfit

These are the comebacks that make Sky sports news mate, written like folklore you'll score a hatrick, and one will be a deft chip that you know you'll never even come close to scoring like again.
