Posh people things

Their utter inability to actually have a laugh and lark about.

While this certainly isn't true of everyone from a privileged background, it's something I've noticed quite a few times and always found curious. I went to a university that had plenty of posh people, and it was the first time I'd experienced a sort of looking-down-upon people who are funny, almost as if humour itself is some kind of frivolous activity. Of the many culture shocks I experienced at the time this was the biggest.

I played cricket during my London years...was a nice mix of poggers, suits and poshos. I was a bit crap, mind. Not as easy as it looks.

I agree. I love cricket. It is becoming increasingly difficult for youngsters with "ordinary" backgrounds to get into the game though..........
